The Divider |
Activity Designer/Code Editor Separator |
There is a black line that runs through the IDE from top to bottom, this is called the ''Divider.'' On the left side of the Divider, we have the activity designer, and on the right side, we have the text editor where we write our program code. The Divider is used to adjust the size of the text editor when writing code or to give more space for designing activities.
To adjust its position, press and hold the left mouse button on the line and drag the mouse repeatedly to the left or right to adjust it to the desired position. You can also double-click with the middle mouse button, which is the wheel between the left and right buttons. This wheel is used to scroll pages up or down in web browsers. When you double-click on the dividing line, the activity design area disappears, and you will only have the text editor. If you want the activity design area to reappear, double-click on the black line again, and it will return to its normal state. Here you can watch a video demonstrating both actions. |
